Vizo Z1 Pro AR Glasses with Virtual 160-Inch Screen

The Vizo startup has introduced the Z1 Pro augmented reality glasses on Kickstarter, which can be used as a virtual monitor with a diagonal of up to 160 inches. The device can be connected to a PC, smartphone, or gaming console.

The glasses are equipped with two Micro OLED displays with FullHD resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a diagonal of 0.6 inches. The field of view is 47.5°, and the brightness is up to 1500 nits per eye. The device weighs 63 grams. It is equipped with IMU sensors to track the user's head position in space.

To connect the glasses to gadgets, there is a USB-C port supporting DisplayPort 1.4. The manufacturer claims compatibility with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and gaming consoles. Some gadgets require additional devices for operation. For example, connecting to PlayStation and Xbox will not be possible without an HDMI adapter.

On the virtual screen with a diagonal of up to 160 inches, the user can view content, play games, or work. With the multi-window mode, one can surround themselves with several desktops virtually anywhere.

On Kickstarter, Vizo Z1 Pro starts at $300. After the official release, the price will increase.
