Vivo X300 Ultra: Flagship Camera Phone with External Lenses and Filming Accessories

Vivo launched the X300 Ultra in China, focusing on mobile photography with a triple camera system developed with Zeiss and external telephoto lenses of 200mm and 400mm, accompanied by SmallRig filming accessories.

The X300 Ultra is built on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. There are versions with 12 and 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256, 512, and 1024 GB of internal storage. The display is a 6.82-inch screen with a resolution of 3168 × 1440 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-144 Hz.

The battery is a 6600 mAh unit with support for 100W fast charging. There is also 40W wireless charging. Connectivity modules include 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and satellite communication, but only in the highest configurations. The body includes a USB-C 3.2 port.

The camera block consists of three modules:

  • The main Sony LYT-901 with 200 MP and optical stabilization.

  • The wide-angle Sony LYT-818 with 50 MP.

  • The telephoto Samsung ISOCELL HP0 with 200 MP.

The smartphone records video in 10 Bit Log 4K/120FPS and works with the AVP codec. For audio recording, there is a system of four microphones, and the image processing is handled by the VS1+ coprocessor.

For mobile photography enthusiasts, Vivo has prepared a special kit. It includes two telephoto lenses with focal lengths of 200 and 400 millimeters, a case with a handle and a built-in 2300 mAh battery, a set of mounts, filter rings, a strap, and a bag.

For videography, a special accessory kit developed in collaboration with SmallRig was released. It includes a cage, handles, mounts for lights, a cooling system, buttons for zoom control, and a shutter release.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is available in three colors: black, white, and green. The prices are as follows:

  • 12/256 GB — 7 thousand yuan⁣ (~82 thousand rubles);

  • 16/1024 GB + satellite communication — 9 thousand yuan⁣ (~105 thousand rubles);

  • 16/1024 GB + mobile photography kit — 12 thousand yuan⁣ (~141 thousand rubles).
