RedMagic has introduced the gaming tablet Tablet 3 Pro with active cooling
The Chinese company RedMagic has presented the gaming tablet Tablet 3 Pro with active cooling. The gadget is equipped with a 9.06-inch OLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Initially, the device will be released in China, and later it will reach other markets.
The screen refresh rate is 165 Hz, peak brightness — 1100 nits, and PWM dimming at 5280 Hz is meant to reduce eye strain.
In addition to a Qualcomm processor, the Tablet 3 Pro includes a RedCore R3 Pro gaming coprocessor, 12 or 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, and 256, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1 Pro internal storage. Cooling is handled by the ICE-X system based on composite liquid metal and a fan with RGB lighting.
The battery capacity is 8200 mAh, enough for 5.5 hours of gaming. Wired charging at 80 W can restore half the battery’s energy in just 20 minutes.
The manufacturer has equipped the Tablet 3 Pro with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port that supports video output to external displays up to 8K at 60 Hz.
The tablet is capable of running Minecraft at 165 fps, League of Legends: Wild Rift at 144 fps, Call of Duty: Mobile, PUBG Mobile, and Genshin Impact at 120 fps. The device comes preinstalled with a PC emulator, allowing it to run games like Tomb Raider at 60 fps. RedMagic also offers the RedMagic Shadow Blade Gamepad 3 controller for the tablet.
The Tablet 3 Pro costs between $556 and $835, depending on the configuration. The RedMagic brand was launched in 2018 as a sub-brand of Nubia Technology, a subsidiary of ZTE.
